Any recommendations for a valve upgrade for a Unison Research RS1 Amplifier?
The standard valves that come with it are a pair of ECC82`s on the pre-amp stage. Any ideas welcome as I hav`nt got a clue...

I upgraded the ecc82's on my Unison Research s6 with Mullard cv4003's from Watford valves. £50 each though, but worth it imo.;)

Well what are you looking for? I assumed from your post you are looking to try different ECC82's. If that is the case, then it would be helpful to know your budget so suitable valves can be recommended. Some NOS valves are now seriously expensive..

Everything in our hobby is expensive, I`m well aware of that, all I was asking for was some friendly advice..I think it best I move on and speak to a few valve companies, no need to reply thanks...
