Bipole speaker build

Its going to be for smaller rooms, near-filed but out in the room. I have decided to make it half as wide (300mm instrad of 600mm above)

Altogether its going to be a cheap project (around £40 for the 4 drivers) and have designed it to have a nice bass roll off starting at -3dB @ 100Hz.

I had ordered some drivers but they are out of stock for the next month, so ordered some replacement ones, which are the same make, but shielded, and higher Qts/lower Fs which should work better in the sealed design than the original drivers.

I hope to have it ready for the Scalford Hall show :popcorn:

I use Mirage M3si's - big Canadian three way bipoles & they're great.
What attracted you to this configuration?

Mainly, lack of crossover (full-range-driver) and no correction circuit (BSC) due to the Bi-Pole configuration.

Aiming to get something similar to Electrostatic style presentation with very lightweight alluminium drivers, but to be used in smaller rooms/near-field.
