What is a good resonable price range (circa £150) cartridge for a techy sl1200mk2 ?

I Have a blue point for my TD124/RB300 but have yet to fit it. I'll let you know what I think when I get it up and running.

A popular choice is the AT440ML or the 120E

Yes the AT120/440 are good, if your running a valve phono (I think you are?) an Ortofon 2M Blue may sound very nice indeed. In my experience it certainly does in to an EAR834P (my Dads). Punchy, tight open and dynamic. The AT's sound a bit bigger/wider and looser, giving a slightly more laid back sound.

hope no one dont minds me asking the same but for my gyrodec, currently have the denon dl103 which is my only cartridge. I would like to add to this but unsure whether to buy another of the same (mc) or try something different (mm).

currently looking up the ones mentioned already,

thanks.
