Yippee. After a few years with a home cinema system and an ipod I've moved back into "real" HiFi.

Rega Apollo-r, Brio-r and RS3's. All from a fellow AoS member (HiFiDave)

I'm using a Mark Grant mains block. The kit is on 2 Ikea Lack tables.

It's installed and burning in but not yet optimised.

The mains turned out to be a grind and is not completely done (but will as soon as I can get the correct memera fuse).

It's sounding good already. I'll get everything optimised and report back when it's all settled in (1-3 months?).

The Cd's have been flying through it already.

Apart from the speakers possibly settling in, I doubt the rest of it will change overmuch - more you getting used to the sound. Glad you like the system and the fact that friend Dave is getting a shout from someone other than myself or Alex_UK :eyebrows:

Nice one Richard. :) The Brio-R continues to stun me for the money - didn't take much settling down (or burning in if you prefer) - sounded great from the get go. I've heard the Apollo-R with it now too, (though not into RS3's) - and they make a great combination. Don't worry too much about it breaking in - just enjoy the music. :)
