A 6CA7 is a direct replacement for an EL34
These tubes dont need any introduction they are by far the best EL34 types I have ever listened to they are simply breathtaking, balanced detailed, bags of bass and have a gorgeous midrange.
I have 3 perfectly matched tubes, so a pair and a spare
They measure 1a 76ma each
I currently use a quad of these in my Eastern Electric M520
These ones do need some burning in time and I can pop an Ayre burning in disc in with the tubes if u like to help the process, I run the disc for hours and hours day after day to burn anything in and it really helps, it has white/pink/brown noise and frequency sweeps and IME will make a difference to a whole system even if it has been used for ages anyway.
These are of the stronger higher grade of the tubes
