Hi

up for offer is the whole turntable but willing to strip for parts. as its in a goodmans modual 80. i would use it but the little weight that balances the arm does not have any fishing line atached to it. parts are what you want to pay for them not really a fixed price apart fro the headshell and motor.

let me know what i can do you you this turnatable is mint no marks on it.

You really should get a Russ Collinson plinth for the GL75, restore the arm (there may be arm upgrades [new pipe, wiring and headshell arrangements] in due course) and enjoy it as the splendid deck it is, especially if it's in pretty well un-abused mint condition.

You know, I think many of these "Module" marriages came with Garrard Zero 100's, so one with a GL75 instead is a goody I think (memories, but it was 40 years ago now...)

Got a Module 80 sitting under my bed with a GL75 in it. Back in the 1970's my best mate's parents had a Module 80/GL75 as well which was pretty much my introduction to hi-fi. Sounded pretty good through a pair of B & W speakers.

Dan, if I was a bit nearer to Bournemouth I wouldn't mind getting your Module 80.

I think it must have been the Module 90 (slider volume, balance and tone controls) with the Zero 100. Such a shame these were made with TV grade components and weren't that reliable. I bet any of the Module series would sound good if carefully restored.

GL75's fetch a darned sight more than £20 these days, I can assure you :)

It worked, would it be feasible to ship it up to Lancashire? Possibly just the GL75 part of it?
