My name is matt and I hail from Edinburgh, Scotland.

I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to sound, so I have decided to learn as much as I can.

I am a student so working on a bit of a budget system. It consists of an Arcam A65+ amp and a pair of B&W 601 S2. I bought a Beresford Caiman yesterday and the seller pointed me in the direction of this forum to learn more.

I like listening to loads of different music, although I haven't listened to much new music for a year or two. Mainly Rock, Electronic and Indie music. Currently I'm really liking Caribou. I'm not much of a music connoisseur but hopefully folks can point me in the direction of some good music.

Hi Matt, and welcome to the forum. If the Caiman and Beresford products has a "home" then AoS is probably it - plenty of owners (myself included) and tweakers to help you.

Ah - Caribou... I got a bit confused a while back, as I have a couple of albums by Manitoba - looks like one and the same. I'm sure we can tempt you to try other stuff too! :)
