View Full Version : Azimuth on the 1210's arm?

I've gone back to using the OEM headshell on my 1210 because for the Jico Shure it sounds better than with it in the Sumiko, and I can achieve level vta - the Sumiko holds the cartridge higher (relative to the armtube) and the Achromat's thinner than the Tecchy mat. Result - unless a spacer's used between cart'n'shell the thing will always run slightly tail-up.

Anyway, slight problem in that the azimuth with the std shell is very slightly askew - it's down on the spindle side, not by a lot, but enough to bug me a bit. Now, before I start undoing the arm screws and wrecking the tonearm's earthing arrangement, does anyone know if the arm can be moved slightly to re-adjust azimuth?

May even be a question for J7. :)
