View Full Version : Hello
Hi everyone
I've been into HiFi for more years than I care to remember. Shortly after I started work, as soon as I had saved some money, I went along to hiFi Experience in Tottenham Court Road, and came away with a Mission Cyrus II, a Marantz CD player and some big, black square B&W speakers (330i maybe?)
I still have the Cyrus amp, it gets dragged out occasionally as a known baseline to compare to. Its still going strong and sounding good.
Nowadays I usually build my own stuff - mostly tubes.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to participated here!
Cheers
Hi Max, welcome to AoS. What sort of music are you into, and a bit more info on your current setup would be interesting some time.
Hope you enjoy the forum, I'm sure you'll have lots to offer. :)

Hi Max,
Welcome to AoS from me.
My first proper system bought from new also had a Cyrus 2 (which I also still own) and a pair of B&W DM110's, I soon traded up through the B&W range as I had several friends who worked for them, so could get a good deal!
We look forward to hearing more about your present system & perhaps seeing some photos of it in the Gallery.
What sort of music do you like to listen to?
Thanks for the warm welcome everybody. Hi Ali:)
