I'm Philippe and I just stumbled across your community while doing a search to try and identify my Naim NACa5 speaker cable.
I'm based in East London and have recently returned to the vinyl fold having purchased a Linn Sondek LP12 as part of a mid-life crisis (could have been worse - could have been a Harley! :)) It is a lovely black ash model with Nirvana, Cirkus, Inspire/Vivid acrylic base with Sorbothane feet, Hercules II power supply and Ixos lead, fitted with a Linn Basik Plus arm and Goldring 2500 cartridge. I'm running this through a Naim NAC 72 preamp and NAP 250 power amp into B&W CDM 7NT speakers. There's also a Linn Solo being used just for playing CDs, connecting my iPod through a Linn rDock and as a pre-amp for the TV so I can use a remote control for volume.
I also run a Naim NAC 12S, NAP 250 and Linn Isobariks from an RME Hammerfall DSP Multiface connected to my PC in the stud and iPod/iDock, Icon Audio Stereo 20 valve amp and B&W Blueroom Minipod speakers in the dining room.
I'm currently rebuilding my vinyl collection (yet again!) and just love getting back into the rituals of record listening, finding that it means I actaully listen to the music more rather than it playing in the background.
