Hi all

Aikido Clone

This is an Aikido clone using the most excellent Russian Military 6N3P-DR double triode. I have used some very good sounding vintage carbon resistors in this and my power amps.
Two inputs switched via front.

I originally built the case for a Phono Pre for my turntable but as I've retired from vinyl decided to try an Aikido circuit. All I can say is WOW very impressed with it. The only downside is my recently built valve monoblock amps are very sensitive, 350mv for full output so I don't really need an active pre with 6 or 7db of gain.

I have a naim clone poweramp upstairs and tried the Aikido with that, very good indeed and would keep it if I had not built another valve amp to replace the naim clone.

As I don't need this it's up for grabs.

How much you looking for Duncan?

You will have to ask yourself "do you need this much gain".

SS amps that need driving will benefit also active loudspeakers.
