I'm about to do the "Roy K. Riches" treatment on my mains supply (or as far as I can go).

Can anyone recommend an electrician in the Belfast area who won't think I'm insane?

I've got the Rega Apollo-R, Brio-R and RS3's arriving in a few days (from HiFiDave as it happens). So I'm keen to have it done before I unbox anything.

I was going to go for a Mark Grant mains block.

Any additional tricks, tips etc. would be appreciated on the mains end of things.

Neil, would you be able to help Rich with this one? :)

I went to the Rega dealer in Belfast (Michael Maclean) and he employs a full time spark.

"Sam the spark" is calling round on friday. I had a long conversation with him in the shop on mains "Roy K. Riches style". I'm from Belfast and Sam is from somewhere along the Antrim coast (or "up country" as we say - the bit facing Scotland).

I can confidently state I was able to understand about one word in 3 of any subject we mentioned but he seems like an OK guy.

He reckons 3 hours should do it.

Nice one, Rich. I knew you'd get sorted :)

Missed your phone call yesterday, dude... Give us a ring later, as I'll be in for most of the day
