Hi all im looking for a small pair of speakers book shelf must be small to go in my campervan,can anyone recommend any or has any for sale?Cheers

The bass/mid is 5", so they are just over 12" tall :)

If you need smaller see if you can find some Wharfedale Diamond MK1 :eyebrows:

Or maybe some small 2.1 computer speakers if you can find one where the sub runs of a 12V DC adapter so you can power it off the campervan battery rather than the mains adapter.

Agree with Mark "Reidy", try Wharfedale Diamonds 9.0 from Richer Sounds at £39.95 must be good value.

I have a pair on a SMSL TA2020 chip amp and they sound very good indeed. Bass is ok if you push them close to a wall. My daughter feeds the amp with an Ipod though a FiiO L3 line out cable (dock port) and the sound quality is very very good (ideal set up for a caravan etc).

The Quad - Lite's are tiny, beautiful and sound great. They appear on ebay from time to time. Everything does I suppose !

I bought a set of Wharfedale 9.0s from Richer a couple of weeks ago. I ran them off a Muse T-amp. I would have liked a bit better bass reproduction but I guess, for their size, they're not bad. They're now in my son's room hooked up to the TV/DVD/PS. He likes the sounds from them! :eyebrows:

Push the Diamonds close to a wall and the bass is not lacking and I am used to really big floorstanders!

Actually I recommended the MK 1 diamonds Chris, as I have heard those & they are the smallest of the bunch. Very good to as long as not being asked to do silly levels.

I guess the modern ones shouldn't be too far out from the originals, & at £40 a pair it sure looks like they should be worth a serious look :D

I have the Mini-T driving my Monitor Audio BR2s in the bedroom and they are sounding lovely. Much more clarity and space round instruments compared to the NAD C350 I was using before.

I also have a set of Wharfedale Diamond 9.1s I want to try it with. They're currently in the surround sound system.

Finally, I have a set of AR28s I'm refurbishing that I want to try with the Mini-T. I'm hoping it can drive them. I can still remember how good my brothers' sounded driven by a 20W Luxman amp back in the early 80s. :)

Watch the foam surrounds on the main drivers, as this can make a bargain not so once you have the faff of repairing or replacing the drivers..
