MingDA MC34-A07 EL34 integrated amplifier - acquired for my Tannoy bi-amping project, I'm going with a 2A3 amp instead as its just 2.5 is fine to drive just my 2in compression drivers , but for general amp duties the 12w MingDa is the better amp. 12w single-ended, more oomph than you'd think and it's also been severely worked over by Duncan 'tubehunter' with cap and resistor upgrades and a pre-heater switch to take the wear off the valves. Comes with close to £100 worth of additional valves (it has the full original Chinese set, plus a pair of Tung-Sol EL34 power valves, pair of Tung-Sol 12AX7 driver valves and a spare 274b rectifier tube. I'm only looking for £225 for this. Original box and packing so can be shipped. See Duncan's original post here (http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?t=12518) Partner with sensitive speakers like a pair of Snells or even cheap Wharfedale E-series (usually sub £100) and you can be in valve heaven for peanuts. Really good introduction to valves.

Marantz DLT-1 line input transformer a magical device that provides three functions: 1) its original design function which is impedance matching for CD players which can sound shrill if the output impedance is wrong (a very common issue in the early days of CDPs, but still not unknown today and worth a try if your CDP or DAC can get a bit shouty or harsh); 2) hum elimination between pre and power amp, operating as an isolation transformer, transparent to the signal but eliminating hum where there is a grounding issue (an alternative to ripping the earths off mains cables to try fix hum issues). 3) Slight tweaking of gain as it's a 1:1.1 transformer, enabling boost of 10% or (plugged the other way round) slight drop of 10%. Really effective where they are needed and much sought-after as nothing comparable is being made today. Very high quality, heavy transformers as befits a serious and well-regarded piece of kit. Seen them go on ebay for up to £300, am looking for £140 here on the 'Wam. Looks just like this one. (http://www.dutchaudioclassics.nl/marantz_dlt1_digital_line_transformer/)

Ortofon SPU step-up transformer - SOLD

Audio Technica AT618 disk stabilizer, like this one (http://www.amazon.co.uk/AUDIO-TECHNICA-AT618-RECORD-STABILIZER/dp/B00008B5DZ?tag=vglnk-uk-c70-21) looking for £30.

Promitheus Audio 1m interconnect, made of the same solid silver litz that they use in their TVC passive pres, bought from SMEagol a while back, (http://www.hifiwigwam.com/showthread.php?59884-Assorted-stuff-2-5m-Speaker-cables-Senns-HD600-Promithius-Audio-interconnect&highlight=promithius)really lovely cable that's £90 in USD, plus postage and whatever bill the Customs lottery hands you, looking for £45. Here's the manufacturer's blurb: "Our latest range of cables are developed after years of research and experiment. These cables are carefully hand braided and dampened with an Polyolefin and damping material to reduce microphonics. This method ensures quiet, clean yet transparent, detail open highs, rich mids and clean, well controlled deep bass. The purity of sound is well heard as the purity of the silver is of very high standards. This is the same silver cable we used in our TVC setups Our cables are priced for common audiophile wallets with the sound of high end cables."

All prices are as collected from Reading area, everything can be posted at cost (for everything but the amp that's probably £5.50 special delivery, amp is around £20 insured courier). Pictures on their way. It's all priced very sensibly with a view to selling fast, so no silly offers please, if they go on ebay I'll be marking these forum prices up sustantially to cover fees and having to deal with the hoi polloi. Payment by bank transfer or paypal personal payment (which these days results in no charges to anyone).
