Offered for sale are a pair of I.A.S. (Intergrated Audio Systems) Beaulieu loudspeakers,made in Southampton,UK,dating from,i think,the early 80's,3 way design,fitted with Volt B250 10 inch bass drivers.Can't find out too much about these speakers apart from a review by Gramaphone Magazine from April 1981,the price quoted for a pair was £540.00 ! These are a matched pair,serial number A212 A & A212 B.Real wood veneer.The design,i have been told,is a 1/4 wave design,not transmission line,this comes from someone who was involved in the R & D team that designed the speakers.Dimensions are as follows : 26 1/4" (66.50cm)- Height,13 1/4" (34.00cm) Width, 15 1/4" (38.25cm) Depth.They weigh 25kg each.Condition,in good working order and fantastic physical condition.There are no covers for the speakers.Collection is from Bournemouth,Dorset.PLEASE NOTE THESE WILL NOT BE SHIPPED.COLLECTION ONLY.Please email me with any questions.Can be viewed / heard.
