Had a good spring clean the other day, and took the oppertunity to take some pictures with no childrens toys (missus was cleaning them all). Usually the place looks like an explosion at a Toys r Us store.

All Technics with big Cerwin Vegas! - that's a fun system if ever I saw one - Love those Techy power amps, almost bought one a few times.

Aye :D

I bought most of it new when I was a lot younger and fun was the aim of the game!
Well over a decade of listening to Vega's/Jamo D-series/Technics later I'm finding it quite a hard habit to kick. My ears & brain have been programmed to only accept warmth and large amounts of low freq's!

It's not for everyone, but it suits me and the type of music I listen too. One day in the distant future I will buy a 'grown ups' HiFi to supplement (but not replace!) this one and the listening mood I'm in at the time.

Until then I shall remain 'addicted to bass'

That is an awesome room, I like minimalism. I'd have to train the missus though, she's into chintz... hehe

Whoa - loads of shiny reflecting surfaces. :stalks:
There's nothing soft in that room at all  no carpet, no curtains, even the sofa is shiny!

Does the system sound better when there is a 2 foot layer of soft toys on the floor?! :D

I bet it rocks though!

2 foot layer! and the rest

Our next place will have a dedicated cinema\tunes room, I will make sure of that! Better speaker placement, foam egg box sheets on the walls and a projector :gig:

Untill then as many of us sadly know, comprimise is the name of the game.

She does rock :eyebrows: crank it up and its like being punched in the chest! Surprisingly its just as happy playing at TV listening levels. 'Come dine with me' through 4ft Cerwin Vega's? :mental: I'm a wrong'un arnt I
