These are our demonstrators - originally in walnut veneer but painted in gloss black after a bit of a clobbering thanks to TNT! Look and sound tip-top!

do you seriously expect anyone to shell out that sort of money when there is not even a picture and more details? I for one have no idea what it is you are selling?

pictures paint a 1000 words

just trying to help :)

You are of course correct - but I don't have access to a digital camera until next week and I rather supposed that anyone interested in a pair of Essence would already know what they are. However, I shall do what is required and post photos asap.

Thank you for the constructive criticism!:)

(The main reason why I'm selling a lot of my kit is to fund a new iMac so that this kind of stuff will be a lot easier - it's not particularly pleasant working on my old valve computer (G4 iLamp)!!)

Hi. You mention that TNT had 'damaged' the Zu speakers. Was it just the finish or more serious?

purely cosmetic - the internal packaging foam we used at the time did not protect the top corners of the speakers adequately enough in the event of the cartons being chucked around during shipping. As a result, when I first opened them up (at the Whittlebury show in 2010) I saw that the top two corners on one speaker had been bashed in about 1/4".:steam: I did the show with them and subsequently had a furniture magician sand them down, rebuild the corners and repaint in gloss black. They perform perfectly.:)

Might as well go for it - the need for a new iMac is just too pressing to bugger around!:D

They're $5000 in the the US, so after shipping, duty and VAT, depending on x-rate, approx £4.5k+.

Would they look a bit like these?

Thanks, yes, the very same except for the colour of the phase plugs on my ones is bright silver and the cabinets are a gloss black.
