Another lurker in from the cold

So here I am desperately trying to think of something interesting to write :rolleyes: . I have been into hifi and listening to music for most of my life and so I have the normal culprits (Pink Floyd, Bach, Black Sabbath, Basie etc) and as I live by my self these days I can indulge in inappropriate sound levels :). As for my gear I am going to attempt to post a couple of photos in the gallery next.

When I first got married we had a pair just like that. :)
We called them pusspuss and pusscat.

Ah yes, innapropriate sound levels. I have to wait till SWMBO goes shopping....She always catches me playing it loud, probably 'cos I can't hear her come back in.....:doh:

Hi Mike, welcome to the forum from me as well :) I really sympathise with the excessive sound level thing as things often tend to get rather loud here to, strangely I also live alone :rfl: Must be some kind of disease that single blokes with a hifi catch :eyebrows:

Welcome to AoS, Mike. I see Whangarei is some way up the North Island. Is it quiet up there? No wonder you can 'exercise the volume control' :lol:

Yep, Whangarei is up in the warm humid north, ideal for :cool:. I'm about to move out of the town into a rural area where the nearest neighbour is about 200m away and I will finally have a dedicated room for the system :mex:
