Hi,my name is Dave and I run White Rabbit Records in Shrewsbury.I have listened to and "collected" records since my long ago youth,although poverty or the purchase of John Birch bass guitars has depleted my collection at various times.Like several of my customers,I seem to be steadily rebuying stuff I sold when I were a lad.In the shop we have stuff for customers to listen to records,and at home I have Onkyo amp ( an old one with no re- mote ! ) and CD player,B and W speakers and a Technics record player with SME arm.I've also just got a Teac reel to reel to replace the Akai I had many moons ago.Whatever the pundits and technology obssessed doom merchants may say,vinyl is definitely not on the way out.

Welcome to AoS, and thanks for joining! We met the other day at your market stall in Shrewsbury :)

The John Martyn albums on vinyl are excellent (listening now to 'So Far So Good'). I plan to return again soon and spend much more time browsing through your very wide and varied stock of quality vinyl.

Oh, and when one of my mates (who lives in Scotland), comes down to visit in the summer, I'm sure he'll be rather interested in some of your 70s rock ;)

Hi Dave, welcome from me too. Good to have someone aboard who sells the important stuff and not just the man jewellery! ;) I'm sure many of us would love to be in your position, but much like Keith says, I would probably find it impossible to sell any of the stock!

As Marco suggests, cast some temptations our way sometimes and I'm sure you will get a bite! Enjoy the forum. :)
