Hopeing to move this year and have been told I need to downsize my Hi/Fi collection:rolleyes:
Don,t really want to resort to ebay especially as some of the items will need to be collect only as I don,t have adequate packing.
First off.
Nice pair of Sonab OA5 type IIs
These I got from a Wammer a couple of years ago, they are in very good condition just a couple of tiny marks to the veneer nothing bad at all, the badges are nice and clean, no paint missing.All the drivers are working (tested the little tweeters with a stethoscope) I replaced the original Phillips full range drivers with a pair of full rangers made by "Falcon" There was nothing really wrong with the originals apart from one driver seems to have sagged a bit and has some water marks on it (probably got wet, why it sagged) I still have the originals and they will be included. The black metal grilles are near perfect as is possible. These are in a little system I have in our computer room.
Only snag.
They will need to be picked up as I have no boxes for them.
Didn,t pay a lot for them (£30/£35) I think plus the new Falcon drivers, so just looking to make space really.
Pictures of the drive units are the original Phillips ones so you can see the condition:)
