I recently decided to put an iMac into the system rather than use wireless.
More reliable, plays high res (AE won't), runs digital EQ and allows for easy needledrops. I control it with screen sharing on a MBP or iPhone. About 1400 lossless albums on it.

You can see absorption behind and to the sides of the ESLs, and diffusors behind the listening position. There is also some absorption on the side walls and corner traps.

Recently decided to display some album art :)

The good thing about 63s being dipoles is that you can also sit behind them and listen.
Nice in the summer with the windows wide open, glass of beer and a good book :)

The rails for the vinyl are tile edging strips. About a fiver each and the albums just slip in and out.

Love those ESL63s...I'm a panel guy from a way back, Acoustats to be specific but I always had a deep appreciation for the Quads.

Rob, don't shoot me down in flames just yet, but has the 34 been "done" in any way. I just couldn't live with a stock one on the percussive music I play a lot, but I understand there are ready updates which help no end, as well as reliability ones to do with physically leaky caps here and there.

You did point out something rather interesting though, the 63s can be listened to behind the speakers - but the phase would be reversed, some people are sensitive to this, others are not :)

Great looking room! Everyone should display LP covers - instant art, readily changeable and interesting. Those IKEA units look like they were purposely designed for LP storage - bless 'em :)
