Great news for all Nitin Sawhney and world music fans (count me firmly in!) If you didn't know already, he's now DJ-ing on R2, every Thursday from 11pm, doing a 'spins the globe' session, for the next 4 weeks, playing many genres of music from all around the world...

The first episode tonight includes music from Paco de Lucia, Pakistan's Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and many more.

We're listening to it right now, and it sounds as if it will be a great show! :gig:

So, I've just popped onto Amazon and bought 'Dust to Gold' and 'Night Song' by NFAK and 'Ilo Veyou' by Camille. So it was well worth tuning in! :cool:

I bought it the other day. It's rather different to his other stuff, and a bit of a grower, but after a few spins, it's now plying me with its rather atmospheric magic! :)
