Hi,my name is Serge,my main language is french,so please be indulgent if i make mistakes sometimes,i own 3 modest sound systhems on witch i enjoy mostly all kind of music,i don't care for RAP and Heavy Metal tough,i do most of my listening with headphones,i really like the way they bring out small details in the music that might otherwise get lost with speakers,so there you go,if you have any questions feel free to ask.:)

I like my Ortofon 2M Black very much,and i find it's a very good match for my SL-1200,but be warned,the Black is not what i would call ''laid back'',it will give you every detail that is in the grooves,it won't make chicken soup out of chicken poo.But with a good quality LP it just sounds awesome

I heard one today at the dealer. Tracks very well. I agree with what you've said, although I only had a brief listen. The good thing is that it can't be called "bright" or "etched," but instead highly resolving.

I heard it on a VPI Scout, which is quite similar to my 'table, so it might be a good match.
