Hello,

Iv got the chance to buy a pair of speakers by scandyna the model is a-25.


Iv googled them and cant seem to find any information about them,

would they be worth buying or not?

They are up for £25

heres a picture of them

Yes they are definitely worth buying, providing they're in working order. They were a direct copy of the Dynaco A25, which was a brilliant speaker, and in turn was the inspiration years later for the World Designs WD25A, which was pretty much identical but using modern drive units and components. The main feature is the aperiodic loading, which gives deep accurate bass.

For £25 , a real bargain.

I have a pair of Dynaco A25.
Absolute classics with a big 10" woofer which is direct coupled.
Similar to the better AR two way models and a very entertaining listen.

The sources above indicate that the Dynaco A25 and Scan Dyna A 25 were both built in Denmark, one for the USA and one for Europe.
