Hi all. It with great sorrow I announce Natalie has just lost her father to long term illness, but he died suddenly on new years eve at home. She wanted me to write a few words to explain why she has not been participating as often as usual.
She will be back in time, but is very saddened at the moment as I'm sure you all can understand.
My condolences.... having lost both parents some time ago, I feel her loss...
I am really sorry to hear this
Its never a good time to lose someone and xmas even harder
My sinceree condolences
Very sorry to hear that. My sincere condolences to the both of you.
Wow sorry,
Hang in there.
Hi Dom,
Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear that... :( Del lost her dad on Christmas Eve, so we've not had a particularly great Christmas either.
Anyway, please accept our condolences, and our thoughts are with you. If you can, try to remember all the good times you had with your dad (I'm sure there were many), and to use his passing as an opportunity to celebrate his life, as well as mourning his death.
That's what we did with Del's dad, and we found it helped us to cope better with the loss.
All the best, and take care. We'll be thinking of you.
Marco and Del.

Yes likewise, condolences to all.
Our condolences to you both. Unfotunately we are in a similar situation as my wife lost her father on Boxing Day after a 6 month illness. Never an easy time, but especially difficult when it happens at Christmas\New Year.

My sincere condolences, Nat & Dom.

My deepest condolences to Natalie and you Dom. Difficult days ahead. I know only too well how this is as my Mum died just over 6 years ago, so I know exactly how this feels.
Take time for yourselves and space, and be aware that everyone goes through this differently and there is no right or wrong way; just your way.
I wish you both the very best.

:( Also not much to say apart from really sorry to hear about your loss :(
Try to think of all the happy family memories and good times.
Keep strong as it takes some time.
As Marco has said try to remember the good times, both my parents died some time ago but the memories stay forever.
Condolences to all of you who have suffered a bereavement over the holiday period -there is never an easy time for it, but it does seem worse at this time of year. :(
Condolences from me too, I wondered why Natalie was not with us so much. I'm never really very good at these messages especially as my Dad is 86 and not in the best of health - it kind of brings it home. As others have said, remember the good times.
So sorry for your loss.

Thank you for you condolences and kind words. I know that many of you have lost family members over the festive period, but It isn't easy for anyone loosing a family member not matter what time of year it is. My dad has been quite ill since 2003 and has been through some very traumatic events. I am very upset and saddend by his death and I am also afraid as to what this may do to mum as she developed Alzheimers due to the events she went through with my dad. Therefore, we will have to be strong for her and pull together as a family. I am also relieved that my father is not suffering anymore and he his resting. I have some good memories and some very upsetting memories, but the good far outway the bad. My dad had 7 daughters, I am the youngest. He has 17 grandchildren and 28 Great grandchildren. We have all turned out ok with the odd exception, so he must have done a good job. He was a good kind man and very generous. I just wanted to share that with you and thank you again for you kind words.
Natalie
