Warm Welcome Wiley! Toronto is my favorite large city in North America, people very friendly and one of the few places where I could take a subway ride at 1:00am and not worry about my safety. They also had a cool audio shop - can't remember the name, where the owner appreciated the need for humor in hi-end audio (in his carts/accessories case he had 2 humongous bolts he advertised as the best for getting that ultr-tight fit b/w cart & headshell, and a butterfly he proclaimed was the the top mc for lightness, speed, and transparency). Lastly, I have very fond memories of a legendary stone & wood basement piano bar which hosted the greatest jazz pianists in the world weekly and for about $15 maybe, you could have a great experience - small room, good acoustics, and the artist b/w 10-20 ft. from you. It was called the Cafe Des Copains. I heard they were taken over by a couple of businessmen who had no appreciation of its hx/importance and wanted to turn it into a golf equipment store (insert sigh)... Sorry about the length, but I have a special place for that city. - Oh! and I forgot, what about Sam's Records, 3 floors of a large building, giant spinning neon LP for a sign, and if I remember correctly, whole floors for jazz, classical, etc. The Golden Days (I feel a new thread coming on!)

It's 2 1/2 inches thick, laminated, tempered glass and is, apparently, able to withstand the weight of 14 hippos. :lol:

I jumped on it as hard as I could - guess even with inertia I don't equal that many hippos! :)
