Mains Cables R Us 6 Gang Silver Plated Mains Block

In his last ever edition as editor of HI-Fi World David Price kindly reviewed my silver plated 6 way mains block, heartily recommended was his final comment.
The block received what I consider a glowing recommendation (and the amount of sales since testify to this) and for anyone who does not read the magazine here is the item in question:-

I take the basic block and remove the light, all internal rails and connectors including the screws which are removed first are silver plated (http://www.mains-cables-r-us.co.uk/sitefiles/15/2/2/152201/On%20the%20Conductivity%20of%20Selected%20Metals.p df) to 15 microns by a
plater who has over 50 years experience, re-assembled and wired with belden 19364 cable, terminated with my reference silver plated mains plug and silver plated fuse,
David said in his review better solutions are available but you will have to pay serious money for these when this particular item does so much for so little.

Does this work like the Tacima I currently have or is it completely different ? What can I expect with something like this in terms of tidying up of mains, as funds limited to that regards hence I have the Tacima :)

The Tacima has filtration and spike protection built in, mine has nothing apart from the contact rails which are silver plated, no filtering, no surge protection, I can say it sounds better than the Tacima in my system but no one really takes any notice of what I say as I sell the stuff so would say it's good wouldn''t I:)

The cable on mine has a faraday cage built in and a silver plated plug and fuse.

You can always buy it and if it's not suitable send it back no problem, no one has done that yet though and I have sold plenty since the review came out, lost count in fact! :)

Hi Dave, Thanks for getting back and honest response. I know some people love the Tacima some say it supresses the sound. My system sounds nice so I'm hoping the Tacima's filtration is doing good - fingers crossed. I guess I'll leave things as they are for now. ATB - Rob :)
