I think I should have my head checked out, but here we go. After some careful consideration I have decided that I need to let my trusty Garrard 401 go. Instead of trying to sell it as an whole working set up, I think it would be best to split it up and sell Garrard 401, plinth and tonearm separately. Naturally if somebody wants to buy the whole thing I am happy with this as well :).
Garrard 401 is an early flush strobe and double spark resistor model, serial number 0751. Absolutely original, I am the second owners, bought it from a elderly gentleman.
