Ok collecting has to stop and fund-raising/room clearing has to start:

Ortofon MC20 Mk II cartridge, very low miles with perfect suspension and barely-used tip, I bought this from someone who said it was his emergency backup and had barely been run in, from its performance I believe him. No exaggeration to say it gave my Audio Note Io a fright, of course the £4k Io was more detailed and refined but for tone and musicality it was a close-run thing. Medium compliance moving coil. £125 posted.

Townshend Seismic sinks, x2 air bladder version, black with three adustable feet and built-in spirit level, £90 each collected or £190 for the pair delivered.

SOLD High-quality ribbon supertweeters for higher sensitivity speakers, three sensitivity settings 92db, 95db and 98db, and two crossover points, 14khz and 16khz, complete with two 1.5m speaker cables terminated in bananas, £135 posted. I used these to great effect with my Tannoy 15in Monitor Golds.

SOLD Transparent Musicwave speaker cable 12ft pair single wired (was spades, reterminated with bananas), £600 list, Hifiguy has a pair for £295, selling for £120 including postage - fantastic bargain, great cable very smooth, refined and detailed, great with valves.

SOLD Transparent Link interconnect - cut down from a larger cable and terminated in high-quality WBT locking plugs, 0.5m pair, £45 including postage.

SOLD A&R Cambridge pre - power combo. C200 preamp/control unit with two phono boards (use the one you want) MM and MC, plus tuned, aux and tape input/output. Plus SA200 power amp, with lovely walnut side cheeks, convervative 100w. This combo was £900 in 1978 (about the same as a 2- year old VW Polo) and was A&R's follow-up to its smaller brother, the A60 (matches with a T60 tuner) intended to compete with and indeed better high-end Naim products of the era as well as the encroaching Japanese. I've had this for many years, had it serviced at Arcam 7-8 years ago. Not in use and I'd like to see it go to a good home, so £125 collected (too heavy/awkward/delicate to post).

Pics to follow.

Hi, is the MC20 the gold metal bodied one or the plastic bodied cartridge?

No brand on them, bought off ebay a while back, they say manufactured in the UK. Sounded as good as Townshends to my ears (£800 a pair), possibly not as good as Audiosmiles though (also had a pair of those, fantastic with my Quad ESLs but couldn't really be set to high enough sensitivity for my 97db GRFs).
