Dave. Odd you should mention RA. I bought some of the cheaper Yello power leads many years ago and since then receive catalogues and a magazine "Connected". He has a January sale each year.

The 2 metre SuperKord is only £1,323 in the sale. Clearly the "K" in cord (or Kord) is justification enough to charge such sum for 2 plugs and a bit of wire. My son-in-lw has just bought n 02 plate Ford Focus in mint condition for £1,750...puts it all into focus.....Focus really....Ha Ha :lol::lol: (and...no I have not been on the sauce.....just about to though!)

It never ceases to amaze me that people feel this is money well spent. Still you pays your money.........

Well Alex, if we discount dodgy electronics, the remaining fear factors in audio remain - damage to wallet and WAF, dangerous waters indeed. Music is a gloriously emotional subject that can quickly degenerate into a can of worms. Psychoacoustics IMHO is fascinating but when we cross over that line into metaphysics well, we become easy prey to the purveyors of pure provocation. Here's another great site of FREE TWEAKS:

On the subject of all things fuzzy / metaphysical, I have received an Xmas book on the Metaphysics of Colour - very interesting indeed. The Belt-driven idea of colour influencing audio playback is not included, strangely. LOL.
I'm a hypocrite really, having frozen cd's for days on end and slowly brought them back up to room temperature, I can hear less peaky playback. Polymer-based furniture polish also works nicely. Probably much the same gain as 'investing' £1,200 on an interconnect. Only the £1,200 can then be better spent elsewhere. If we were all required to spend an equal amount on jewellery for our companions as we spend on audio, Russ Andrews would be out of business rather quickly I suspect.
