After christmas i'll be decorating that back room out as a second but lot smaller lounge, no traffic noise, a lot warmer than the main room!

I'm looking into a small File based system, but one thing at a time.. i've already bought a new Sony Internet TV. Next move is looking into small speakers.

Number one on the list at the moment are the 'Q-Acoustics' 2010i or even '2020i' at a push..I like the sound of these speakers & also the look which reminds me of the Dieter Rams’ Braun Hi-Fi designs.

Any others heard & like these speakers?

Also have a look at the Dali Zensors , maybe a little bit more expensive

but fantastic sound per pound.

Andre,

not the 2000i, but I used a pair of 1000i in my former office setup:

I loved both their sound and their appearance. You probably should consider adding a matching Q Acoustics subwoofer.

I have been using a set of JBL CONTROL 1 speakers. They come with a bracket so that you can fix them to the wall, which is what I have done. I have a subwoofer output on the amp that I use them with, which helps a lot when watching movies.

Got a pair of the original 3 way Braun speakers here Andr'e. They work fine but one enclosure needs filling on one of the bottom corners, so they'd ideally need repainting to.

I don't use them, get in touch if you are interested :)

You won't find better sounding than these for the price Andre.

I saw 2010's for £65 in Best Buy tonight.

40% off 2020's too, making them 100 and something pounds...can't remember exactly.
