Hello guys.
I'm getting some external crossovers made and need to know a good (cheapish) cable I can use from the crossovers to the speakers.
I need the cable to be as low resistance as possible as the length would be around 1.2m max. There will be 4 lengths per crossover 2x LF 2x HF.
Can anyone recommend any to me?
Cheers
Joe

Well if i were to use cables to run LF & HF sections id use a run of Kimber '4TC' for HF & a run of '8TC' for LF.. but for standard internal wiring id use Kimber 'TCX'

Joe:
Actually i'm using some great cable at the mo & very cheap
Chord 'Carnival SilverScreen' is available in two versions:
Standard twin conductor 10mm diameter & four conductor version 12mm Diameter, you could use a combination of the two versions

Funny that... Thats what I'm using too!
I've using the 10mm twin I bought from Richer Sounds ages ago. It's not bad but I felt it was lacking slightly in weight compared with the VDH The Wind.
Saying that, it's cheap enough. Just not sure of it's resistance properties etc.

Survs you right for not having tone controls :rfl:
I don't have an issue with the Bass Weight!
Your only talking around a meter away i wouldnt let the technical bull shit worry you.. :)
Anyway room for other peoples sugestions but thats all i can offer at a cheap price..You have to admit the Silverscreen does look & sound good for such a small outlay ;)

It's marginal between each cable and it's certainly not really worth the extra price, not at the moment anyways.
Tone controls... Sometimes I miss tone controls.
