I just realized a few days ago that my record clamp/weight has gone missing from its ONLY location :steam:. I hadn't used that TT for a few months so it hadn't become apparent that the clamp was missing.
One of the reason I hadn't been able to use the TT is because the anti-skating weight and srew assembly on my Micro Seiki MA-505MKI had gone missing as well . Only just managed to source one after buying a damaged MA-505 arm from someone in Australia and strippiing off the required part.

Anyone else had bits of their equipment go missing under mysterious circumstances?

Does during divorce count?
Probably - I'm pretty certain the stylus tip on my Linn Klyde was forcibly removed while my old LP12 was stored in the ex's attic - when I came to play a record there was just a nude cantilever :argument:

Does during divorce count?Don't start . Nearly 30 years later, and I still bemoan the loss of my unopened Jimi Hendrix vinyl collection. They would have been worth a fortune on eBay now.

Guess that is why I queried it, since Fast Finger Fred seemed to be at odds with my recollection of FFF.....

FFS, FFF is now in AA....

Was it a case of 'I'll get a diamond out of him one way or another...'

Reminds me of my favourite line in the film Kenny:

'Marriage? Don't bother, just find a woman you hate and buy her a house. Cut out the middle man'

As this is predominantly male dominated site (think pub) there is the danger of generalisation - the male of the species is not exempt from blame. Some female partners are put through merry hell and come out with little. Fair's fair....
