Anyone got a spare?

I fancied trying one with my "new" Pioneer PL71 ... but these days they're getting on for 40 squid new! :stalks:

That headshell you have already looks pretty good I reckon. I use a related? Nagaoka shell, but even these are similar price and don't have the azimuth adjustment which you'll find useful I think.

Hmm ... yep, you might be right, Dave. The headshell I'm using is a pretty solid item in the Sumiko manner ... :hmm:

Very Interested to see/hear how you get on with PL71 - have one myself (from Martin aka Howlingdawg) for past year - yet to properly setup - but loft conversion (ie home for 2nd system) is nearly ready to go ..................

I'm not sure it's made much improvement to the sound, but as Dave DSJR noted, my old headshell was of pretty similar construction.
Looks cool, though! :smoking:
