TT lid scratch remover - any recommendations?

Used this on my Thorens TD150 lid and works an absolute treat - Brasso is to caustic.
It also works great on car soft top rear screens.

Had a go with t-cut and some other paste used for scratches on windows.
Gave up after an hour as it was no different.

Was tempted to get one of the car buffers from halfords but it didn't seem worth it.

Will depend on how deep the scratches are as well.

I used some Meguiar's PlastX, from Halfords. Did take a lot of elbow grease, but did eventually get the cover of my Thorens all sparkly nice.

Depends how deep they are. If they are quite deep start off with Autosol chrome cleaner, progress to t cut then end up with meguires plast x. If they are really bad you can start with a very fine (1000-1500 grit)wet and dry paper and then progress as above. I have done dozens over the years, it can take ages and you end up looking like popeye at the end of it:)

Dont use a mop you will melt the lid with the heat,

Finish by going in the same direction all over the lid,

Follow greenholmeelectronics for the rest but it does take time.
