For sale is my very fine Michell Iso moving coil phono stage is a seminal Tom Evans design.
It has its original set up loading of 100 ohm, so it will be suitable most modern cartridges. It is adjustable by sending it to Michell to have some component changes if you need to change the loading; it could also be undertaken by Tom Evans or Trichord (who manufactured it in the first place). I have partnered it with a Sumiko BPS and latterly my Ortofon Kontrapunct C and both sound superb with a smooth, open presentation and good low-end punch and dynamics.
Unfortunately I no longer have the original boxes for this equipment. Altogether cost around £850 new, I want £200 so it will be a bargain for someone. My preference would be collection in person but I am happy to post to anywhere in the UK. The Hera psu is very heavy however so P&P won’t be cheap.
