Pleased to tell the world that "Avatar #2" is gestating nicely, here's the obligatory fuzzy indistinguishable picture of said "prawn" though it is more the size of a crayfish I guess!

Amazing how well developed a baby is at 13 weeks - everything as it should be, correct number of limbs/toes etc. Does of course mean the hifi fund will take a hit, and the bedrooms where I have second/third systems will be cleared out, but I'm sure that will be the least of our worries! :)

Won't be finding out the sex - always nice not to know whether it is a little boy or a little girl that will soon be poking your tweeters in!

I don’t know how many pints it takes before you can’t get it up but you’re obviously not drinking enough Alex :lolsign:
Congratulations. :)

I reckon about 5 - but then I am a red wine drinker, and she has been keeping an eye on my consumption for conception! :lolsign:

Congratulations to you both Alex, and I wish you all the very best. BTW, I used to be a nurse and I worked in pre and post-natal. I could tell you the sex of your baby:eyebrows::eyebrows:, but I have no intentions. You can usually tell at 12 wks when you work in the industry :lol:I'm only joking I can't tell really:lol: I am happy for you both and your new little avatar will be a big surprise for your other little avatar when he or she arrives. Good luck and best wishes to you all.

Natalie;)

Many thanks for the kind words everyone. The calm before the storm for the next few months, and will be cramming in as much listening as possible methinks! :)

Hats off, good sir!

I lost my "listening cave" 1 year and 4 months ago. Didn't see that one coming. ;)

The Garrard will be well safe until Avatar 2 toddles a year or so after birth. Mind you, we lost a TV, video (and nearly sonny-Jim) when he side-swiped our beloved B&O TV off the cabinet it was on when his Mum's back was turned for thirty seconds.........

I've already wished you all the best Alex and share your joy and caution as you well know. You'll be totally lost with two to care for :)

The important thing is all is going well. It'll never be the same, you'll have pre-kids life (which will be fuzzy), and the brave new world. The cool part is she can't drink, but you can get totally blitzed!

Congratulations,
Barry

Cheers Tim. :)

Defo need to arrange my trip down south before the next one! ;) (I think it took less effort to arrange my first date with the missus, and look what a state she's in now! ;))
