Looks nice and neat. Dare not show your turntable to the misses(she'll tell me to get rid of that bloody awful walnut box).:lolsign:
Can't comment on the sound as i've never been keen on the Linn sound (conservative) other than their Lp12. Must admit i haven't heard the Newer Linn equipment.
Looking cool all the same.

My first high end turntable and a lost love.....I should not have sold mine :(
Voyd's rule. I was told at Whittelbury that Guy might be coming back to TTs in the future but I don't know if that is true or not. As I was not told that in confidence I mention it here; in hope its true.

i'm loving the Voyd. it's only the 2 motor baby one, but it looks and sounds great. i'm going to treat it to a grado gold at the weekend (as i already have that!), then hopefully a move to MC in the summer.

Nice system , you prefer the Project over the Valdi then ?

thanks Chris. in truth i prefer the project as it's easier to use. i was having a lot of footfall issues with the valdi that i don't get with the project. cracking turntable otherwise.
Is the Vincent a pro amp?
belloire

hi Martin, it's not a pro amp, it's a German 'hybrid' partial Class A power amp.

Cheers Darren - that's a new one on me.

I must admit to hating the process of fitting the drive belt on my Voyd , I guess I never quite got the knack ?

aaaaaaaaah the joy of fitting a belt. wasn't too bad on the valdi with only 2 motors. a couple of bits of coat hanger and away you go. the 3 motor version must be a nightmare though!

Yep - I had a 3 motor Voyd - took over 30 maddening minutes to (finally!) get the bloody belt on!
Worth it though - Voyd Point 5 - very nice indeedy!

I used to have the ATC scm 35's very good speaker indeed!
I had to sell them to pay a bloody tax bill, oh well.
Now I have ES22's again very very good.
