Hello All,
My name is KC and I'm from Baltimore Md, I've been reading the great threads here about modifying Technics 1200s for some time and figured it was time that I registered.
My musical tastes are all over the map from heavy metal and doom metal to punk rock, industrial/electronic, classic rock, and blues heck I even spin some classical and bluegrass when I'm feeling the need!
Just like my tastes in music my gear is all over the map with a majority of it being DIY projects. Depending which preamp is plugged it at the time I have a pass b1 and a ESP P05/P06, a yamaha C2 and a couple of random rotels... Forgot to mention my latest project a Pioneer SX-980 that needs a lot of tlc!
Lets not even get into the turntables.... My favorites are my 1200s but I also have a Kenwood KD-750, Technics Sl-1301, SP-10 (Project) a couple of Duals, Micro Seiki's....
A majority of my equipment has been purchased from Craigslist, thrift stores and flea markets. I really enjoy buying broken stuff and getting it running again!
