There is a music label that appears to only put music on downloads that also happen to be free, I downloaded a few albums & gave them a spin on the lappy... Nice stuff to, but maybe not to everyones tastes ;)

Getting to the meaty bit I decided to download a load more yesterday :) The thing is though the download speed was really slow (about 140kbps), so after I pulled a couple through the wires I popped over to speedtest.net. Ran a few tests & I was only getting 1.5mbps downloads  I'm used to 7mbps on my connection...

This continued through most of the day, so I got in touch with BT & spoke to a rather helpful gentleman. He did a load of line checking & suggested a few things & asked me to try them & he'd call me back - which he did! At one point he asked me to swap out the router for another (I'd already mentioned I bought a couple), so I did this & as it was just settling down the chap rang back again. I asked him to hold on as I tried speedtest.net one again... He heard me saying whao what the hell from another room as all of a sudden I had 18mbps download speed :eyebrows:

Even better i asked about the fact that a friend got an upgrade to a new router for free & as I was in contract he got a brand new homehub sent out to replace the duff router that was faulty. The fact I still had another good one was besides the point.

It arrived this afternoon & after disabling the wireless cack I know I'm not going to look back :D No-one told me I could get what must be the equivalent of 20Mb broadband :eyebrows:

Which label? Do tell! The word "free" caught my eye and I'm a bit of skinflint . . :)

Good result on the download speed too.

It's free so be my guest :)

Click on releases near the bottom (http://www.stadtgruenlabel.net/) ;) They even supply the artwork if you want to print it off & burn to a CD :eyebrows: Just download the zip file & you'll get the lot

The music may well not be to most peoples tastes though so do bear that in mind ;)

But quantities of your preferred tiple definitely ease you into it :lolsign:

I downloaded six albums to my server today and am finding out where my musical sensibilities allow me to go. Definitely recommended for the adventurous
