Urban myth surely

The wording seems very American - 'parking lot', 'city employee' etc?

Edit - Sure is: http://www.snopes.com/crime/clever/carpark.asp

Nevertheless, no matter how much it would be an own-goal for government mismanagement and fully vindicating BWMBO (Mrs T) entrepreneuriship (god that sounds like a disease) I believe he is correct in that it is an urban myth.

Lol! Yeah, no chance that this was real... the picture on the Left is authentic Bristol Zoo carpark. Besides the vest the guy is wearing, you should observe the hardcore / gravel surface to the carpark... The picture on the right however, marked bays, tarmacadam surface, is definitely not Bristol zoo. The fees are also rubbish. £1 for Members, £4 for Non-Members. And no bus spaces AFAIK :)

Now why they didn't pick on Edinburgh Zoo I don't know. The BBC the other day was going on about how the Pandas up there don't understand English, so I'm pretty sure there's a bunch that could past that lot without much trouble :)

Oh such synics:rolleyes:, I know it is more than likly fake, but I just thought it was a bit clever. It was actually done by someone who works for the council but I'm not saying which council. I thought it was funny and would be very clever, if it had really happened.

Hats off if someone actually did manage to pull a scam like that!

We might be draft down in the South West, but not that daft though. It would have to happen somewhere else ;)
