What are the dimensions of them Dan?

How far away do they need to be away from walls?

Alright Frank

Dimensions are: H 12 1/2", D 10", W 8"

Ideally about a foot from the front wall, they like a small toe in also.

Yjey really are fantastic Frank but I havent been able to find the room for them and I have tried and had them in the wardrobe for ages just in case I was allowed to change the bedroom around but not a chance she says!

Crikey, a foot from the wall Dan, that means I would be almost sat behind them in my new "listening room" which is now a really tiny bedroom :(

A mate of mine has some Opera floorstanders which I doubt he would part with because after many years he has found nothing else to better them

Hi mate

U had the Dreadnaughts off me a little while ago, I did prefer these on the Kudos stands mind which as u know are £200 on their own. As u say good speakers and are somewhat of a bargain they are completely as new.

Frank, a foot is in an ideal world of course, just quoting what the manufacturer would have stated but who of us has an ideal room?

My main speakers were 6k and should be 3 foot away from the front wall but in my room are about 10cm off the wall and still sound bloody marvelous!

There aint many of us who can do what the manufacturers have stated and as they are standmounts they wont get boomy, well unless they have a B&W badge bluetacked to the front of them :)
