Hello Hi-Fi Fans

Hello all,

I'm new to this group. I came across it while researching Lockwod Major speaker cabinets.

I live in Norfolk, England and my primary system is based on Quad amplification (44 pre amp, 606 power amp) and 15" Tannoy Gold speakers. I've just acquired a pair of Lockwood Major cabinets for the Tannoys and I plan to add another Quad 606 to bi-amp the system.

Hi Andy, a warm welcome to AoS :) Nuts to Bi-amping, get yourself a decent active crossover & kiss goodbye to the nightmare that is the passive version :eyebrows:

You would not go back to passive even if Bi-amped, I kid you not ;)

I'm sure you'll fit in well here, what with 15" monitor golds & Lockwood enclosures you'll have the boss sniffing about shortly :D
