Hello everyone,I've finally joined after lurking here for a while.

I mainly listen to classic rock/metal :guitar: on CD,DAB & internet radio.

My budget kit consists of;

BEDROOM/SLOTH PIT:

Denon PMA255UK amp,Marantz CD5400,Cambridge Audio DAB300,Oppo DV980H,Beresford 7520DAC & Wharfedale 9.0 speakers on Soundstyle Z2 stands.

LOUNGE:

Cambridge Audio A5 amp,Arcam alpha 6 cdp (dead - awaiting replacement),Denon TU260LII tuner,Panasonic BD75 bluray & Eltax monitor III speakers (Wharfedale 9.1s on order) on Soundstyle Z1 stands.

Yes,you're right - had to google to find out! :doh:

I've now replaced my defunct Arcam CDP with a Rotel RCD-06SE and my Eltax monitors with Wharfedale 9.1 diamonds - sound a bit rough straight out of the box,they should settle down once they're run in.....:scratch:
