RPF Cheap as Chips Challenge

Somewhat inspired by a cheap as chips challenge that happened here...
(whatever happened to that?)
... I started one on Real Photographers Forum
People entering the compo have to buy a camera and film for less than £10 ... you can read more about the rules here:

(it spiraled into 100 silly questions on the rules like it did here)

Anyway, I've just added more to the prize ... the winner now gets an olympus trip 35 camera as well as an RPF mug!

most people are still faffing with what camera film combo to use ... but one of our members has come back with these quite lovely shots taken with a canon canonet and Ilford PanF

the best thing is, people have gotten more into film photography, we have had one chap start developing his own film with another showing a lot of interest... and more importantly, i have bought me some chems again!

... so yeah, cheers Alex for the good idea... It spread, aand has had a very positive effect on RPF!

Really, i think being as technically it was your idea ... you should enter!!!

It been great for me, perfect excuse to buy loads of old film cameras in a bid to find the perfect one for the challenge!
I've bought an Olympus trip, Olympus af1, Pentax spotmatic (broken :(), canon eos 1000f yashica minister d, canon 35af, olymis mju ii, and a beautiful Bencini Comet which takes 127 film ... I've even ordered some 127 film for it!
Loads of fun, and not one of those cameras cost more than £5 ...
Of course you have to be a bit of a camera fool like me to get this much out of it ... :)
