Qualityten

Hi All
I'm pleased to introduce myself here. I rediscovered hifi when my rather basic system got irreversibly damaged in an accident 15 years ago.
At that time I was just beginning to discover how the web would transform hobbies like this one. For some years I was greatly helped by the reviews and reviewers on TNT-Audio and I later joined their review team. But work pressures have meant that I've had to give up doing reviews at the moment.
I love vintage hifi and enjoy restoring or building vintage gear. My amps are nearly all valve amps, including Dynaco ST70, Mullard 5-20 monoblocs and some Verdik Qualityten amps. Hence my moniker.
I am fond of idler drive turntables and classic British loudspeakers too. My main deck is a Garrard 301 with a modified SME tonearm, but I have others!
I am active on a couple of other audio forums as time allows, and I hope that I can make a friendly contribution to discussions here.
David
