I've just bought an old one. How easy are they to service? Does anyone have manual or schematics? Or should I leave it to the experts and if so, who?

Don't forget that welcome thread, matey ;)

Please do it before you post anywhere else.

Marco

Already done mate! I was at Dandy's house listening to some great kit. He said you'd been impressed by his DBL's, I'm not surprised!

Indeed, although I believe he's on the lookout for another pair of speakers? Good to see that you're local, so we should meet up at Dave's next time :)

Did he let you hear his L-07D T/T? It's phenomenal! I'd like to bring my Techy round again, as it's been further modified since the last time I was round, and see how it fairs

He's been here too. No idea where you are but you're more than welcome to spin some tunes in Helsby. His L07 is just lovely. Mind you, he thought one of my secks was the nicest he had ever seen! I think he was just being generous!

Hi Geoff,

I'm only in Wrexham! Might pop round for a listen when I next go to Convoy Records in Frodsham. Have you been there before? Great selection of quality second-hand vinyl and CDs

You're more than welcome and no, I have not been to Convoy as I had no idea it was there! You have now damaged my wallet before we've even met!

Lol, here are some pics from a record buying trip a friend and I did earlier in the year:

Rupert, the owner carries quite a large selection of vinyl, CDs and other music related items, mugs, books etc. The day we visited all albums were £5.00 or 5 for £20.00.

The Keith monks is working superbly. Took it to the main agent for a service and he handed it back to me the following day saying it didn't need any work just a bit of a clean. Bargain!
