View Full Version : Record Collection Value...?
Hi all.
Someone local to me has put a record collection of around 2500 7" and 12" records, but put offers,
They said they dont know what they want for them, what would be a good price for them? i wouldnt really know what to offer, and i dont even know what sort of records there is. Im guessing it would be a real mixed bag of stuff.
What would you offer in this situition?
Cheers :)

£2.50
I offered £50 as a starting point but she said no, so dread to think what she would say to £2.50 :lolsign:

I think that on the information given £2.50 is a fair price - they might be the result of an ardent Des O'Connor fan obtaining multiple copies of everything he ever inflicted upon a listening public ;)
In truth you need to find out lot more about the content of the collection, and its condition.

Yeah not a bad shout should of thought of asking so just sent her another message, and asked if they are in orignal cases or blank ones, she did say they where in flight cases which could mean they where a DJ's collection :mental:

I would offer £0 without being able to inspect. If what the seller really wants is an appraisal, I would charge the seller for that service.
