Rodders - I have just sold my 401 & plinth but still have a very nice early 3009 II for sale if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer. If I had seen your 401 rig I would have offered serious money for the whole package. It seems good 401's are hard to come by. I've got a bid going on flea bay for a TD160/SME at the moment m8.

A Thorens TD160 is good but is not quite in the same ball park as the 401.
Are you still looking for a 401 or are you looking at a lower budget set up?

I'm fairly relaxed about the plinth. More concerned about the kit. I see some 401's going for serious money and cosmetically they are quite poor. Can't vouch for mechanically of course.
