I'm Rod

Live in Kent and a tender 59 years old. 15 years in IT and 30 years in sales.

Spent god knows how many thousands of pounds on hi-fi. Have had kit from Pioneer, SME, Thorens, Celestion and many others.

Gradually, have moved from vinyl to cassette to CD to digital. Now completely Apple (MacBook Air, iMac, iPad2 and iPhone4s). My relatively big music collection (I was a DJ as a teenager) is now digital. However, I dug out my Rotel/Stanton turntable and Pioneer SA-1000 (no speakers) put on an excellent pair of headphones and thought.............I miss the old kit 0:(

That's why I'm here.......trying to find some working, quality equipment to play the truckload of vinyl I have in the loft :0)

You are in the right place. There's gents here who know lorrie-loads more than I do AND know how to talk to people. I'll add my two cents if appropriate after others with more experience pipe in. Smart move.
